Shuttleworth Military Airshow 2021
Finally! I have managed to get myself to an airshow, my first airshow visit in two years. On the 4th July I made the 3 hour journey to Old Warden for the Military drive in airshow, this was my first visit since the Covid changes had been made. We arrived at 8am and was surprised to see about 50 cars already in the queue, the gates opened at 10am and we ended up in the second row which was OK. We parked up in our 5m square box, and I must say this gave the show an even more relaxed feel than the show is famous for. We were lucky weather wise with a couple of heavy showers in the morning but more sunny weather that was forecasted throughout the rest of the day.
At 2pm the show started and below are some of the results that I came away with, better than I thought I would get being very rusty with the camera with not being out for so long.
The gear I used was the Nikon D500 with Sigma 500mm F4.5 and the Nikon D610 with a Nikon 200-500mm.
